Well it might not be but having received my Birthday pressie 1 week early I have already become rather fixated with this new way of living.
The cafe is feeling good, with last week providing us with our best sales to date, we now look forward to Christmas. The first couple of private parties have gone fairly well with people leaving impressed. It's difficult for people to know whether they'll get what they expect when they consider arranging a party at haven. But every time we delivered more than what was expected.
The big test comes this weekend with a party for 50+ with lots of food, but Julie is cool calm and collected so I guess I should be too.
The Christmas gift baskets have been examined by a lot of people so we hope those turn into sales in a couple of weeks!
Some of you may have noticed a rather nasty hairy tache growing between my ears. Well in the name of Movember, I've managed to raise over $300 which ain't too bad at all! I have to thankthe generous customers of haven for their donations (and insults!).
4 weeks and the cafe closes for a week. 4 weeks and we'll be flying to the UK!
