an introduction

that's us. julie and michael harvey married in jasper back in Aug 2007, not even a year ago and only a few months after having returned from around-the-world travels.

seems like an age ago. and neither of us would have believed that two months later we would buy the assets of a cafe in sherwood park, canada.

but we did.

cafe haven is 4 months, 1 week and 6 days old. it says something about starting a new business that i am only just starting a blog now.

of course we have a huge amount to still iron out. but the boulder of cafe haven is starting to move, starting to roll just a little.

so, what is the point of this blog? Well, there is the opportunity to share with friends and family our experiences but it will also explain to all those in Edmonton and Sherwood Park what we are trying to do - a place to get people's ideas and thoughts on how we can improve the cafe. from recipes to how we recycle stuff.
